It seems like a good time to pass along an update to the ongoing "Wiki Reboot" effort. We've made a LOT of headway in bringing the site up to date. As of today, we've now got every model which appears in an Ibanez catalog since 2008 documented on the wiki. We've also added many additional models which never (or haven't yet) made a catalog appearance. This includes all of the solid body models introduced at last week's Summer NAMM show. I'm sure there are still a few spot models made in the past 8 years that we're missing, but I doubt there are a whole bunch of these.

Now that the site is essentially up-to-date I expect to turn the focus of my efforts in two directions: 1) adding any models that are missing between 1987 and 2007 and 2) improving the usability of the site. This last item encompasses things like continuing to build out the parts documentation and finally getting to work in a serious way on implementing the portal pages.

While there remains much work to do, I just want to pause and acknowledge the strides we've made. As of January 2016 this site contained articles on 755 guitar models and 983 total pages. As of today, we have 1,188 guitar models and 1,447 total pages. That represents a 57% increase in the number of models documented and a 47% increase in the total number of pages on the wiki in the last few months! That's a pretty incredible achievement and I'd like to thank all of those who've helped to make it happen, especially KainTGC.
