The S7420 is a seven-string S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2000.

Features of the S7420 include a mahogany body, a Lo TRS-7 tremolo and Ibanez Vintage 7 and Vintage 8 pickups.

The S7420 is the first seven-string S series model since the 540S7 was discontinued in 1993. The S7420 was discontinued after just one year, and Ibanez wouldn't produce another seven-string S until 2007 when the S7320 was introduced. In 2010, a new S7420 was introduced as the 24 fret replacement of the S7320.
