The Ibanez S7420 is a seven-string S series electric guitar model introduced in 2000. Features include a mahogany body, a Lo TRS-7 tremolo and Ibanez made Vintage 7 and Vintage 8 pickups.

The S7420 is the first seven-string S after production ended for the 540S7 in 1993. Ibanez wouldn't produce another seven-string S until 2007 when the S7320 was introduced. In 2010, a new S7420 was introduced as the 24 fret replacement of the S7320.
