The Ibanez S5EX1 is an S series guitar model introduced in 2010. Features include a mahogany body with zebrawood top, a 24-fret Wizard II neck, Ibanez Infinity pickups and the ZR tremolo. A rather unique feature are the black and white 'Zebra' humbucking pickups.
The S5EX1 is only sold through the American musical instrument store chain Guitar Center. It first appeared in their august 2010 guitar catalog. It is similar to the regular production models known as the S770FM and S770PB.
