The S540-7 is a seven-string S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1993.

The S540-7 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a low profile double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and DiMarzio pickups.

The S540 is a similar six-string model.
