The S1220 is an S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2002. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The S1220 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple and buginga neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special S wave inlay at the 12th fret. Components include a pair of Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The S520 is a similar non-Prestige model with different pickups.

The S1220 was offered only in 2002.
