The RGT42MDX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2009.
The RGT42MDX is based on the RGT42DX, but has a maple fingerboard. It was one of ten new RG models introduced in 2009 with a maple fingerboard. Other features include a neck-through-body construction, mahogany body wings, Ibanez Infinity pickups and the Edge III tremolo.
The RGT42MDX was discontinued after just one year in production.
