The RGR521EX2 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2006. It is a spot model which never appeared in a catalog.

The RGR521EX2 features a mahogany body with a dark swirl finish bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with a pearloid barbed wire inlay. Components include dual "Designed by EMG" humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge.

The RGR521EX2 was a limited edition model shown at the 2006 Summer NAMM Show along with the RGR521EX1, which is similar except for the fretboard inlays
