The RGIR20E is an RG series solid body electric guitar released by Ibanez in 2013. It was among the first guitars produced for the Iron Label line. Like the other Iron Label models, it is built in Indonesia.
The RGIR20E features a basswood body with high contrast binding bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge, dual active EMG humbucking pickups and a kill switch.
Variants also introduced in 2013 included the fixed bridge RGIR20FE, the 7-string RGIR27E and its fixed bridge version RGIR27E along with an 8-string RGIR28FE. A 28" scale length 6-string RGIB6 was added the following year.
The RGIR20E was discontinued after 2016 and essentially replaced by the RGIR30BE.
