RGIB6 Black Red copyright sprite

The RGIB6 is an RG series baritone solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is made in Indonesia as part of the metal-focused Iron Label line.

The RGIB6 features a basswood body with white binding bolted to a maple and bubinga Nitro Baritone neck with a 28" scale and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and no inlays. Components include dual EMG active humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge and a kill switch.

For 2018 the neck was replaced with a maple and purpleheart construction and the rosewood fingerboard was replaced with Jatoba.

The RGIB6 is essentially a baritone version of the RGIR20FE.
