The RGD7421 is an RGD series guitar introduced in 2012 as the replacement model for the RGD7321. The RGD7421 removed the tone knob and check mark inlays, and includes a 3-way toggle-switch and black pearl dot inlays. The RGD7421 is the 7-string version of the RGD421 which was released that same year.

The RGD7421 features a 26.5" scale neck and comes a full-step down in factory A-Standard tuning (ADGCFAD). Other features include a Wizard III neck, Gibraltar Standard hard-tail bridge, and CAP-VK17 and CAP-VK27 passive pickups.
