The RG7420PB is a seven-string RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2016. It was produced in Indonesia.
The RG7420PB features a poplar burl top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with white dot position markers. Components include a standard double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and dual Ibanez Quantum humbucking pickups.
A hard-tail version, the RG7421PB was also offered. The RG420 is a similar six-string model without the exotic poplar top.
The RG7420PB was discontinued after 2017.
