The RG721FM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The RG721FM features an American basswood body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include a Tight-End R fixed bridge and dual Ibanez humbucking pickups.
The RG721FML is a left-handed version. Similar models include the RG721 (sonokeling top), RG721RW (rosewood top) are very similar models. The RG721MFMA is a similar model with an ash body and a maple fretboard; the RG721MSM is a similar model with a spalted maple top and birdseye maple fretboard.
