The Ibanez RG565 is an RG series electric guitar model introduced as part of the Roadstar series in 1991. Features include a humbucking pickup in the bridge position and a single coil-sized humbucking pickup in the neck position, a maple fingerboard with color-matched dots and a reverse headstock. It returned in 1992 with a updated tremolo model as part of the RG series.

In 2009, a new model based on the RG565 was issued as the RGR465M.

In 2012, as part of the 25th Anniversary Series, Ibanez made a Limted Edition RG565 issued as the RG3XXV.
