The RG542AH is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1996.

The RG542AH features an ash body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez humbucking pickups and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge.

The RG547AH is a similar model with the addition of a middle single coil pickup.

The RG542AH was produced only in 1996.
