The RG470FX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model produced by Ibanez in 1994.

The RG470FX features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH configuration and a fixed bridge.

The RG470 is a similar model with a double locking tremolo bridge. The RG470FX was the first production RG model with a hard-tail bridge. It was produced for only one year.
