The RG470FM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1994.

The RG470FM features a basswood body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH configuration and a locking nut.
