The RG450DX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It replaced a previous model with the same name but with significantly different specs.

This RG450DX features a mahogany body with a one-piece maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez Quantum pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a standard double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.

A left-handed model is also available, the RG450DXBL. Similar models are the RG450DXB (black hardware and white finish) and the RG450EX (black pickguard and white dot fingerboard inlays). The Steve Vai signature JEMJR is essentially the same guitar with some additional body routing and different fretboard inlays.
