The Ibanez RG420EG is a Limited Run RG series guitar model introduced in 2008. Special feature is the engraved body top; in total there are six different engravings introduced between 2008 and now. The latest addition for 2010 is the RG (BAM) variety.

Other features are a basswood body, Ibanez made pickups, an Edge III tremolo and a Wizard II neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard and sharktooth inlays.

The RG420EG was introduced as part of the 2008 RG Creations series along with the RG320PG.
