The RG3EX1, also known as the RG3EXQM1, is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It was sold exclusively through the American musical instrument store chain Guitar Center.

The RG3EX1 features a basswood body with a quilted maple top and white binding bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include dual Designed by EMG humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge.

After a three year production run the RG3EX1 was discontinued after 2007. It was essentially replaced by the RG3EXFM1 which is similar but has a flamed maple top and Ibanez Vintage pickups.
