The Ibanez RG2EX2 is an RG series guitar model introduced in 2005. Features include a bound basswood body, two humbucking pickups and a standard hard-tail bridge. It discontinued in 2007 but was reintroduced in 2010 with a new set of pickups.

The RG2EX2 is only sold through the American musical instrument store chain Guitar Center. A similar model with a black finish is issued as the RG2EX1. A tremolo-equipped model was available in Japan as the IRG2.
