The RG2620E is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG2620E features a basswood body with an individually hand-stamped finish and binding bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard Prestige neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and wedge (or ghost) sharktooth position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio IBZ humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2620 from the previous year is similar except for the fretboard inlays. The RG2570E is a related model with the addition of a middle single-coil pickup and without the stamped finish. The RG2610E is a related model without the neck humbucker.
The RG2620E was discontinued after just one year in production.
