The RG1618 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale J Custom line.

The most unique feature of the RG1618 is its fretboard with a quilted maple veneer and binding and lack of position marker inlays. Other features include a mahogany body with a quilted maple top with binding bolted to a maple neck with the aforementioned 24-fret fingerboard and matching headstock. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG1618 was offered only in 1997. It is believed that very few examples of this model were produced — likely twelve or fewer.
