The PGM401 is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2009. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert. It replaced the PGM301.

The PGM401 has a more 'classic' approach than the PGM301 with a sunburst finish, an RG-style ash body, DiMarzio Air Classic pickups which give a more "vintage" tone, a bone nut and Gotoh tuning machines. It also abandons the more modern All Access Neck Joint of the previous Gilbert models in favor of the traditional Tilt Joint, which Gilbert believes provides a "fatter" sound.

The signature painted F-holes of the PGM models are 3% smaller on the PGM401 to retain a balanced look with the pickup rings.

The PGM401 was discontinued after 2011.
