The PGM401 is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert. It replacemed the PGM301.

The PGM401 has a more 'classic' approach than the PGM301 with a sunburst finish, ash body and more vintage toned DiMarzio Air Classic pickups. It also abandon's the more modern All Access Neck Joint in favor of the more "old-school" Tilt Joint, which Gilbert believes provides a "fatter" tone.

The signature painted F-holes also found on other PGM models are 3% smaller to retain a balanced look with the pickup rings.

The PGM401 was discontinued after 2011.
