The Ibanez PGM401 is a PGM series electric guitar model and signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert, introduced in 2009 as a replacement for the PGM301. It has a more 'classic' approach than the PGM301 with a sunburst finish, ash body and more vintage toned DiMarzio Air Classic pickups. It also features the old school Tilt Joint as apposed to the more modern AANJ, according to Paul Gilbert himself providing a 'fatter' tone.

The signature painted F-holes also found on other PGM models are 3% smaller to retain a balanced look with the pickup rings.
