The Ibanez MRG5, also known as the MRG5QMG, is a J Custom RG series model featuring a quilted maple top, DiMarzio pickups and an Edge Pro tremolo, released in 2004. These MRG models are specially made for the Kurosawa Gakki musical instrument stores in Japan.

A similar model with a pickguard and dot inlays was issued as the MRG4.
