MRG1 DBK
MRG1 in Deep Black Red copyright sprite

The Ibanez MRG1, also known as the MRG1QMC is a J Custom RG model featuring a quilted maple top, two DiMarzio humbucking pickups and an Edge Pro tremolo. These MRG models are specially made for the Kurosawa Gakki musical instrument stores in Japan.

The MRG1 was based on the more widely available RG8570 but without the mid pickup and with a ebony fingerboard. Another version of this guitar was issued as the MRG2 featuring gold instead of cosmo black hardware.
