The JTK40 is a Jet King series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009, replacing the similar JTK4 from which it is distinguished by the natural finished (rather than black) headstock. It was produced in China.
The models in the Jet King series were a nod to the "pawnshop" copy guitars from the 1960s[1], which Ibanez, among others, sold.
The JTK40 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset triangle position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups and a Full Tune III fixed bridge with an Ibanez VBX60 Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece.
