The JS1200 is a JS series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2004. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani.

The JS1200 is similar to the JS1000 model introduced a decade earlier, but has some small refinements, including the new DiMarzio PAF Joe neck pickup specially developed for Joe Satriani. Another eye-catching feature is the Candy Apple finish with matching headstock.

For 2010, the bridge was replaced with the original Edge tremolo.

The JS1200L was a left-handed version.

The JS1200 was discontinued in 2017.
