The GRX55 is an RX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2014. It is part of the entry-level GIO line

The GRX55 features Ibanez Infinity pickups in an HSH pickup configuration, a synchronized tremolo bridge and chrome hardware.

Its specs are similar to the GRX40, but that model has a single coil pickup in the neck position (i.e. HSS pickup configuration). The GRX55 had a very short production run; it was replaced for 2016 by the GRX55B which is similar except it has black hardware.
