The Ibanez GRG270 is a GIO RG series electric guitar model introduced in 2003 as a replacement for the OP270. It is one of the most affordable OP models still featuring a double locking tremolo. Other features include a basswood body, a bolt-on maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and Ibanez made pickups.
From 2008 through 2010, two different versions were produced for different markets: a version with an ILT1 tremolo and a version with an Edge III tremolo. A very similar model without fingerboard binding is the GRG270B.
