The GAX70L is a left-handed AX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It is made in Indonesia and later China as part of the entry-level GIO line.

Multiple versions of this model were produced simultaneously for different markets so the components and specifications can vary even with a single model year. Common features of the GAX70L include a beveled slab-style double cutaway AX body bolted to a maple neck with a pair of Ibanez humbucking pickups and a Tune-o-matic style fixed bridge and tailpiece combination.

The GAX70 is a right-handed version.

The GAX70L was discontinued after 2009.
