The GAX70 is an AX series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It is part of the entry-level GIO line.

Multiple versions of this model were produced simultaneously for different markets so the components and specifications can vary even with a single model year. Common features of the GAX70 include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups, a fixed bridge and tailpiece combination and a bolt-on maple neck.

The GAX70L is a left-handed version.

The GAX70 was discontinued after 2009.
