The SZ720FM is an SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2004. It was produced in Korea.

Features of the SZ720FM include a mahogany body with a flamed maple top and abalone binding mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with special flame position markers. Components include dual humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge.

It was offered in 2004 with Ibanez SZ pickups, which were replaced for 2005 by the Seymour Duncan designed Duncan/Ibanez pickups specially made for the series.

The SZ720FM is similar to the SZ520QM, but has fancier inlays and abalone binding.

In 2008, all SZ models were discontinued in favor of the SZR520 and SZR720.
