The SZ4020FM is a SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2006. It was made in South Korea by World as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SZ4020FM features neck-through-body construction with mahogany wings topped with flamed maple mated to a maple and walnut neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and a special SZ Prestige inlay only at the 12th fret. Components include a Gibraltar Custom fixed bridge, a pair of humbucking pickups specially designed and made for the SZ series by Seymour Duncan, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuning machines with height-adjustable posts.
It replaced the SZ2020FM which is a similar model with a set-in neck.
