The RGR480 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 1998. It was sold only in Japan and replaced the similar RGR470.

The RGR480 features a resoncast body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups, a locking nut and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge.

The RGR480F is a similar model with a gravure flamed maple top. The RG480 is a similar model with a normal headstock. Other resoncast bodied RGs include the RG380DX and RG390GX.

The RGR480 was produced for only a single year.
