The RG770DX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1991. It was originally part of the Roadstar II series which later became to be known as the RG series. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG770DX features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with binding and sharktooth position markers which match the finish color. Components include color-matched DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, Gotoh tuning machines and a clear pickguard.

"Initially the Edge tremolo was used, but that was replaced with the Lo-Pro Edge when that new tremolo was introduced for 1992".

The RG770DX was discontinued after 1993; a similar model was introduced in 1994 as the RG670DX. A limited edition reissue was offered in 2008.
