The RG580 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998.
The RG580 featurs a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position makers. Components include Ibanez pickups an Edge double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.
The RG580 was available only in Japan. The RGR580 is a similar model with a reverse headstock and maple fingerboard. A similar hard-tailed alder-bodied model was offered as the RG581.
