The RG570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

This model replaced an earlier RG570 which has slightly different specs. This new model was available only in the USA until 2002 when it was also offered in Europe. The previous model continued to be offered in Japan through 1997.

The RG570 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a bubinga "skunk stripe" and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. It has Ibanez V7 and V8 humbucking pickups flanking an Ibanez S1 single-coil; the pickups are mounted to pickup rings. Components include an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG550 is a similar model with pickguard-mounted pickups and a maple fretboard. The RGR570 is a similar model with a reversed headstock and sharktooth fretboard inlays. The RG517 is a near identical model from 1996 with the Flaked Blue and Flaked Green finishes which were offered on the RG570 in 1997. A left-handed version, the RG570L was introduced in 2002.

The RG570 was replaced for 2003 by the RG1570, which was part of the expanded Prestige line.
