The RG548 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The RG548 features an ash body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with V7 & V8 humbuckers mounted in pickup rings flanking an S1 single-coil, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The color code of the blue finish was listed as LBU, LBL and finally TLB but it appears that all three of these may have been the same color.

The RG547AH is a very similar model which this replaced.

The RG548 was discontinued after 1999.
