The RG390GX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1998. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen and was sold only in Asia (outside of Japan) and South America.

The RG390GX features a resoncast body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration, a locking nut and gold TRS-101 double locking tremolo bridge.

The RG390DX is a similar model with black hardware. Other resoncast bodied RGs include the RG380DX and RGR480.
