The RG2680 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG2680 features a flamed maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple Ultra neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2680M is a similar model with a maple fretboard. The RG2420 is a related model without a middle single-coil pickup.
The RG2680 was sold only in Japan and was discontinued after 2002.
