The RG2570E is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. It replaced the RG2570EX; the primary change being the new five-piece neck.
The RG2570E features a basswood body with a textured finish bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard Prestige neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with smoke mirror sharktooth position markers. Components include dual Dimarzio IBZ humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG2570E was visually updated in 2007 with wedge sharktooth inlays and a new Vital Gold finish was added.
It was replaced for 2008 by the RG2570Z which features the new Edge Zero tremolo.
