The RG1202 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as one of the first models in the upscale Prestige line.
The RG1202 features an American basswood body bolted to a maple Ultra neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG1208M is a related model with a middle single-coil pickup and a maple fretboard.
It was sold only in Japan and was discontinued after 1998.
