The GSZ120 is an SZ series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It is part of the entry-level GIO line.
The GSZ120 has a flatter body style than the standard (i.e. non-GIO) SZ models as well as a bolt-on rather than set-in neck joint and a tailpiece rather than a through body string arrangement. It features a fixed bridge and tailpiece, dual Ibanez humbucking pickups with individual volume controls and a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers.
The GSZ220FM is a similar model with a flame maple top and covered pickups.
The GSZ120 was produced for different markets simultaneously in Indonesia and China with slightly different specs in terms of body wood species and pickups. It was discontinued after 2010.
