The GRGS22 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. It is produced in China as part of the entry-level GIO line.

The GRGS22 has a basswood body glued to a set-in maple neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and an Edge III double locking tremolo bridge.

The set-in neck construction is an unusual feature on any RG model which mostly have bolt-on necks.

The GRGS22FM is a similar model with a flamed maple top.

The GRGS22 was discontinued after 2010.
