The GRG170M is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2009. It was made in Indonesia as part of the affordable GIO line and is a spot model which was part of the 2009 Ibanez Limited Edition Vol. 1 series.

The GRG170M features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez Powersound pickups.

The GRG170DX is a similar regular production model which has a rosewood fretboard with sharktooth inlays.

The GRG170M was discontinued after 2009.
