The ART100 is an ART series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was the first guitar released in the ART line which is based on the original Artist series.
The ART100 features a single cutaway mahogany body with binding bolted to a mahogany neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard which is blank except for a special inlay at the 12th fret. Components include dual Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups and a Gibraltar III fixed bridge with a Quik Change III tailpiece.
Gold and Satellite Blue Flat finishes were introduced at the 2010 Winter NAMM Show and Violin Sunburst at the 2010 Summer NAMM.
The ART100L is a left-handed version. The ART2EX1 is a similar model with block fretboard inlays which was an exclusive model of the Guitar Center retail chain. The ART90 is quite similar except that it has a roller bridge. The ART100DX has a different bridge and fretboard inlays, but is otherwise similar.
