The 540RS is a Radius series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Roadstar Pro series. It was offered only in Japan.

The 540RS features a basswood body bolted to a 24" short scale maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with small pearl dot position markers. Components DiMarzio-made IBZ/USA pickups with an F1 humbucker at the bridge and a pair of C1 noiseless, stacked single-coils in the neck and middle positions, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The 540R is a similar model with a standard 25½" scale length.

The 540RS was discontinued after 1992.
