S5521

S5521 Blaze Red Burst

The S5521 is an S series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in mid 2015. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.

The S5521 features a mahogany body bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and walnut Super Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and locking Gotoh tuning machines.

The S5521Q is a similar model with a quilted maple top. The S5221BWE is a related model with a black & white ebony top. The S5527 is a similar seven string model.

The S5521 was discontinued after 2016.
