Like other FGM models, the FGM200 is based on the S series body. It has a unique rear-mounted pickup system, making the pickups sit flush in the body. This design allows the strings to lie very close to the top of the guitar which is what Gambale prefers.
The FGM200 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with clay dot position markers. Components include a Gotoh GTC101 bridge, a trio of DiMarzio pickups with a pair of traditional humbuckers flanking a single-coil sized rails humbucker and Gotoh tuning machines.
The FGM200 was discontinued after only one year in production.
